Charges Pending following Collision
Coudersport-based state police say summary traffic violations are pending against a Galeton driver following a collision Wednesday afternoon on Route 6 east of Coudersport. Authorities say the collision occurred just after 5:00 p.m when Sean Andrews who was headed east tried to avoid hitting a vehicle turning into the parking lot at Morgan AM& T and traveled into the westbound lane where is Subaru Legacy hit a Dodge Ram pick-up driven by Douglas McDowell of Wellsville head-on. Andrews was not wearing a seatbelt but McDowell and his passenger Joshua McDowell were. The vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Coudersport Volunteer emergency services responded to the scene.

Theft of Items from Wrecked Vehicle Investigated
The theft of some items from a wrecked vehicle is being investigated by troopers at Coudersport. Sometime between 5:20 p.m. Tuesday and midnight Wednesday, someone reached into a Dodge Caravan owned by Jessica Watson of Austin and took a black purse containing prescription medication and plaid colored bag containing flashlights ad clothing. The van had been parked along route 872 a half mile north of Portage Road in Portage Township following a wreck.

Tioga County Woman Jailed after Allegedly Assaulting EX
A Tioga, PA woman was taken early this morning to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital for evaluation after she allegedly stabbed her live-in ex-husband/paramour and kicking an arresting state trooper. Tammy Bradley, 34 is being charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment for an incident allegedly taking place at 1:00 am today in her home on old State Road in Sullivan Township. Jason Bradley, 33, was taken to Arnot Ogden Hospital in Elmira for treatment of lacerations to his forehead, nose and right shoulder. Apparently Trooper David Rauscher did not require treatment after being kicked in the leg and knee while he was trying to arrest the suspect..More news...
