Both Drivers to be Charged
Charges are also pending against both drivers involved in a collision Tuesday morning on Collins Hill Road in Bingham Township, Potter County. According to Coudersport-based state police, the collision occurred when Raymond Outman of Whitesville was traveling too fast for conditions and allowed his Dodge Ram pick-up to slide out of control on a right hand curve and cross into the opposite lane where it struck a Ford F-150 driven by Henry Whitesell of Rexville. The impact forced Whitesell’s truck into a snowbank on the western edge of the highway. A passenger in the Dodge, Terri Outman, also of Whitesville was taken to Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville for treatment of moderate injuries. Both drivers and a 3 year old boy in the Outman truck escaped injury but police say Outman is being charged with failing to properly meet and approaching vehicle while Whitesell is being charged with driving without a license.

Elderly Passenger Hurt
An elderly Knoxville woman suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on Route 249 in Chatham Township, Tioga County. State police said the accident occurred when a Buick LeSabre driven by 81 year old Arthur Stuckey slid off the slush-covered road while rounding a left hand curve, and struck a tree along the north berm. The driver escaped injury but his wife, 81 year old Bessie Stuckey was taken by ambulance to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital in Wellsboro for treatment of moderate injuries.
