With all of the issues lately with recalls on food products, where are the Health Inspectors? Where is the government to step in and check these places or all places that deal with any kind of food going to consumers? Where are the extra precautions that should take place to make us feel safe? With all of the big bucks the government officials are making in our country, you would think they are paying someone that is smart enough that would come up with something to make us feel safe with the food we are eating. There goes consumer confidence again! If consumers do not feel safe buying food from grocery stores, more money lost! Oh but maybe the government people that got raises or even the big CEO's of the companys we bailed out will help and share some of their money and help the grocery stores get back on their feet if people stop buying from them. Is there someone out there that can help the americans instead of just pushing them more and more into the ground, literaly!!

Anyone around here sell homemade peanut butter? Seriously, i would buy it at this point!

How much fresh local things can you actually buy right now?! There are alot of people that do not have the choice to buy fresh. Look at the WIC program and all of the peanut butter they allow. Please be careful whoever receives WIC and check your peanut butter brands!!

I'm all for buying local and supporting local efforts and farmers, but man, there hasn't been fresh anything grown locally for several months.

As for Health Inspectors, seriously, why draw more government into your life. More and more people are buying into the "government is the solution to everything" mentallity. Live free, buy what you need and can afford, help thy neighbor and stick a red hot poker up governments rear.
