what a dang joke this is. This country is in the worst shape it has been in a long time, and these people keep spending money like it is water....

And the sad part of it is, this is just the start of it......

Stop the Pork, PLEASE said...

"During the recent DRPA (Delaware River Pork Authority) budget hearings Executive Director, John Matheussen, promised their handouts would end. Are they going to raise the tolls again to pay for more of their non-transportation giveaways. He should tell Governer Rendell to get lost."

Copied and pasted from this articles blog, boy are these people pissed and with good reason.

Once again I say Nancy P., speaker of the house stated the Dem's would cut back on all the pork spending, well your 100 days were up quit some time ago and we are still waiting...hmmm

And Rendell does not want to hear any whining about jobs that will have to be his appointed buddies will not be the ones to be cut and they should be the first ones.

We do need smaller government and this wasteful pork spending to stop!

The state is running a deficit of $2.3 Billion this year. Good hard working people are losing their jobs all around us and Rendell is spending $3.5 MILLION dollars to honor slaves? The money apparently being left over from "unused" economic development funds in the 1990s. We sure could use a little ecomonic development in PA these days. Besides, I doubt there are any former slaves still around to honor.

I know it was a tragic thing that happened with slavery and all, but we need to focus on the people of today that need help. Black, white, indian etc... All races are in trouble NOW and need help. Lets get the present day issues resolved before we back track just for history sake!!

How about coming up with the money that was promised to the counties to help fund a full-time DA.
