Endeavor News Preview

Alex made the Dean's list at Pitt-Bradford for the Fall 2008 Term. Congratulations on your accomplishment.


This week's edition of Endeavor News examines the challenging problem of joblessness in northcentral Pennsylvania.

Unemployment rates in Potter and Cameron counties remain high above statewide and national averages.

Also in this week's Endeavor, Potter County officials are preparing to reckon with reduced state funding and growing demand for alcohol and drug abuse services, help for senior citizens and other programs provided by Potter County Human Services.

Faced with empty storefronts and a need for coordination, business and government leaders have come together to form the Coudersport Main Street Committee.

Another ambitious year is underway for the movers and shakers who are working on the Coudersport Arboretum.

Two new attorneys have arrived in Coudersport to join established law firms. Learn who they are in this week's Endeavor News.

Area basketball teams and wrestlers are preparing for district competition.

Also this week, Endeavor News presents the Winter Journal, chock-full of pictures and stories about outdoor activities and local attractions.

Spent three dollars today and the print were like crap. And I don’t mean on the bills. Not good------ Hope this was just with the copies I got.
