Firefighters Stop Fire But Damage Is Extensive

This photo shows firefighters attacking a working structure fire on Cranberry Drive in Eldred Township on Tuesday afternoon at the Duane and Stephanie Wolfe residence. Duane Wolfe is Director of the McKean County Department of Human Services. He formerly worked for Potter County Human Services in Roulette.

State Police Fire Marshal Corporal Thomas Josephson and Eldred Township fire chiefs investigated the fire that started at 2 p.m. at Duane and Stephanie Wolfe's home at 8 Cranberry Drive, off Route 446.

They say it started in or on the ceiling of a walk-in bedroom closet and spread from there.

Damages are estimated at $170,000.The Star Hose Co. website has more photos and a complete report.

I was just looking through the archives on the Star Hose Co. site. About a month ago they announced that they surpassed 3-MILLION hits!!! Seems like a lot of attention for just a "blind squirl" doesn't it?
