My mind boggles me when the police say becareful on our 4 wheelers. How can we be careful when they chase you on them when we are just out rideing them and having a good time.Thats when people get hurt they take off on them so they don't get all kinds of tickets for rideing them.If they whould just let us ride them on the side of the road to get to some trails to ride them whould be a lot less people getting hurt.Yes there are the dumb ones out thier that cause accidents. But most of us just ride to have fun with the family and friends what does this hurt.I think the police can find better things to do then chase the 4 wheelers.Just let us have some fun with the family and our friends.

if people like you would respect your neighbors and the surroundings. the police probably they wouldn't chase you...Also why would you run? If you'd stand up and be a man and stop like your supposed to. You probably wouldn't get arrested...I didn't when I stopped. Your probably drunk or something...I can't believe that you would even write something like this...I see austin had two four wheeler wrecks just on Sunday alone...

My mind boggles me too! You ride illegally, run from the police and then blame them! I am sure you have no idea how riders get their bad rap! Are your machines registered properly? I doubt it. I have never been "chased" by the police. If you can not access the trail system legally, USE A TRAILER! It is idiots like you that make it bad for those of us who choose to play by the rules. I am sure this is not the only area of your life where you play by your own set of rules. Buy a helmet ( I am sure that is what happened to your spelling and common sense ) and PLEASE do NOT become a parent!

Four Wheelers and Dirt Bikes use should be out-law as to only on the owner’s private property. You operators just think you have the right to run them where-ever you want with no respect to land owners. When you do some places where you have been told not to and your tires go flat; you piss and moan.

I agree with Anon @ 7:06. I mean why do the Police have to arrest people when they do something illegal?? Why can’t we just go about our business and have a good time. It shouldn’t matter wether it’s legal or not. Why are they always spoiling the fun. I hate it when they do that!!!

What brain cell did you use to write that??? I gotta know which one it was!!!

Being a camp owner in Potter County that has been coming up for a lot of years now and keeps up on local news.I would be willing to bet that more young people around there have been killed on fourwheelers or dirtbikes than anything else including drugoverdoses or suicides. So maybe the police should put more resources into stopping the Illegal activities taking place on them.If there has been two wrecks by young people in one town already this short riding season both in which it seems the drivers were very lucky to escape serious bodily injury then I only pray for the moms, dads and families that have children or young people that ride illegally for it looks as though another tragedy is inevitable this summer.Everyone please be safe and DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE. these are jokes posts, right? please tell me they are a joke.

If not, you have been failed by everyone in your life to show you the difference between right and wrong.

Fellow land owners:
Look at what you have running across your property. It’s time to shut them down before it gets worst.

2Am in the morning:
A four wheeler has wrecked out in someone’s field here on Bailey Hill (where they should not have been) and the Fire and Ambulance have been going by to rescue.
They have called for a Helicopter to come. This is why they should be Out Law. In the middle of the night they run on some else’s property. Get hurt and have to be rescued.

This is in response to march 17 12:47 pm I bet you as you call yourself a property owner that post his land in hunting season and then goes and hunts on other peoples PROPERTY with your 4 wheelers .To get to whare your going to hunt at because your to lazy to walk back in the woods like normal hunters.I'll bet your one of them so called land owners that put up chains across your roads that lead to your camps or homes.Do you piss and moan when people like you cause other people to get hurt when thier rideing and having a good time. Then it happens they run into your chains across the roads.DO YOU PISS AND MOAN when somebody runs into it.You cause people to get hurt because of your stuipity when you put stuff in the roads so they get flats and do damage. It's people like you that needs to get fined because of your dumb mistakes. There is people out there that ride 4 wheelers that do respect peoples property and for i do.SO remember if you show respect you get respect.

Same old story! A few bad apples try to ruin it for everyone else! Myself and the Westend Trail Blazer snowmobile club are very thankful for our gracious landowners and the club works very hard to solve issues and attend to complaints! Most of the riders have insurance, registrations, respect and appreciation for the local landowners! Thank you! Brad Jones (former pres. and founder of Westend Trailblazers Inc.)

Why do some want to out-law what they feel is dangerous. There is not one thing you can do that is 100% safe. Like the family at home when the jet crashes into it. Suppose they want to out-law jets flying over buildings.....

How many more people have to die before the state dose something?

I am pretty sure in Sweden valley you can ride on some of the roads safely. I think more should be like that. and they would have less problems with the police chasing them as they put it.

I think with a few beers in my system I mellow out a bit and drive my ATV much more responsibly. If you really wanted to fix this problem you people wouldn't get so worked up. I mean god has a plan right and he plans for a certain number of people to die on ATVs and a certain number of over zealous police offers to chase people on ATVs every year. Just accept it and move on.
