Here we are worried about a high wind warnings with winds only 20 to 30 miles per hour. It takes a 27 mile per hour steady wind to make a wind turbine produce at 100% of its name plate. At 50 miles per hour they shut down or blow over. At a 8 miles per hour wind they produce no electricity, they just turn. It is such a waste of time. It is such a huge waste!!

no .... not turbine talk again!

Wow your an idiot!!! A properly configured wind turbine will produce electricity at 7 MPH up to 85 MPH without any problems I don't know where you get for information from but you might want to double check your source.

I hope they build 10,000 wind turbines in Potter. Look at all the ridgetop State forest ground that could be utilized.
