Arnold E. "Mick" Miller, 53, Galeton, PA

Arnold E. "Mick" Miller, 53, of Galeton, PA, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at Soldiers & Sailors Hospital, Wellsboro.

Born March 20, 1956 in Blossburg, PA, he was a son of the late Clifford E., Sr. and Sally (Ludwig) Miller. He was married to the former Wendy Werner, who survives.

Mick was a farmhand for many years and was a member of the Pine Creek Valley United Methodist Church in Gaines. He greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving besides his wife, Wendy Miller, are a son, Arnold "AJ" Miller, Jr.; three daughters, Kassandra Bowler, Dallas TX, Robbyn (Brandon) Bathrick, Wellsboro, and Theresa (Shawn) Schrader, Germania, PA; three granddaughters; four brothers, Clifford (Karen) Miller, Jr., Galeton, Kenneth Miller, Hickory, NC, Francis Miller, Gaines, David (Denise) Miller, Sr.; a sister, Joyce Bowers, Morris, PA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Mick was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Albert; and a sister, Lucinda Harter.

Friends may call at the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton on Monday, April 13, 2009, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service following at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. David K. Shultz will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Galeton Library.

Thank you so much for this site. Mick was my uncle. Had it not been for this site I probably would not have known about this for a long time.

Mick was a great person, he will be missed greatly by all of us.
