Owner Of Truck Replies..........

Leo Went Truck Shopping The Other Day

Our cover Photo (c) Leo Szczesny 2009

Leo wasn't quite sure where he was when he spotted this beauty.
Maybe the owner can tell us where it is at and the year, make and model.

This Truck lives in Raymond. It's
a 1949,F1,6 cyl.flat head Ford all original. The story with it would take to long to tell but I have it in memory of my Uncle, It used to be owned by my cousin and was given to me from my Aunt whom I love very much. I saved it from a hedgerow of 25 years. If you can understand it is priceless and very sentimental to me!!! It will soon become a center piece for a flower garden. Thank You for using it in Solomons Words, It was quite a surprise seeing it there.

You can't put a price on sentimental value. Best of luck with the truck!

Good for you, why don't you send a picture to the show that restores vehicles?? It would be a great story.

It needs to be restored and not made into a flower bed to rust away.

hello, i agree, get it restored, do not put it in the flower bed. To nice of a truck to do that with.

turning a classic into a Flower pot is a crime to unspeak to be true!

restoring an old vehicle costs mega bucks, but a flower bed decoration? I think it would look better with the christmas lights on it like you did one year but not sitting in the middle of a flower bed. Just my opinion.

Getting this truck restored would certainly increase the monetary value of the truck, but would do nothing for the sentimental value, that is priceless (already stated by the owner). apparently some of you do not realize the cost of restoring a truck like this, and when it was done it wouldnt be this truck anymore. So if you want to put it in a flower bed, have at'er!
