DRIVE SHAFT IN ROAD DAMAGES CAR
Mansfield Based state police overnight released details about a one-vehicle crash taking place last Friday morning on Route 15 in Mansfield. Troopers said Kimberly Monroe of Casenova, NY was traveling south when her 2005 VW Jetta struck part of a drive shaft which had fallen off of a tractor trailer. The impact ruptured the car’s oil pan , causing it to become disabled. Monroe and her passenger, Samuel Fuller of Auburn, NY were unhurt.

TWO DRIVERS ARRESTED FOR DUI
Coudersport-based state police report they made two DUI arrests on the night of April 10.

Curtis McCullen, 38 of Wellsboro was pulled over on the Loucks Mills Road Hector Township just before 10:00 pm for alleged traffic violations and found to be driving under the influence.

Edward Zeisz, 19 of Renovo was stopped a couple of hours later on Route 144 in Stewardson Township for an alleged traffic violation and police say they found him to be in possession of marijuana, a marijuana pipe, three full cases and one partial case of beer. Charges against both drivers have been filed in district court.


THEFT OF ELECTRONIC GAME FROM KNOXVILLE HOME INVESTIGATED
Mansfield-based state police are looking for thieves who took a wii console, two controllers, a num chuck, six wii games and a sensor to a wii guitar from the home of Gerald Davies on Wags Avenue in Knoxville earlier this week. The theft occurred sometime between 8:00 pm Sunday and 3:00 pm Tuesday.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY IN OSWAYO BOROUGH PROBED
An attempted break-in at a camp located on Bryant Hollow Road in Oswayo Borough over the past several months is being investigated by Coudersport-based state police. Would-be thieves tried unsuccessfully to pry open a door on the camp owned by Richard Smith of Rittman, Ohio and also failed to pry open a padlock on a nearby storage building between October 15, 2008 and this past Tuesday.
