Sharing Community Knowledge

Potter County Education Council will hold several programs based on “Sharing Community Knowledge” at the Coudersport Office. In North Central PA, individuals in our communities possess extensive knowledge on a wide range of topics. The problem is getting this knowledge which resides with individuals into the hands of those who are interested in learning more. That is the goal of this program.

Potential Topics could include Art History, Astronomy, Automobile Maintenance, Cell Phones, Commercial Construction, Computer Networking, Creative Problem Solving, Healthcare, Home Construction, Horticulture, How Do I Make Glass, Local Economy, Lumber Grading, Team Building, Tourism, Web Design, and many, many more.

There is no fee, no money, just a willingness to share your knowledge in exchange for other people’s knowledge. Each month you will hear a presentation by 3 of your peers, and then the group will spend an hour identifying linkages between topics presented and the community, local businesses, and individually for participants.
