SHINGLEHOUSE LITTLE LEAGUE NOW AT 5-0

The Shinglehouse Little League team's record increased to 5 – 0 by defeating Coudersport Purple, in a tightly-contested, extra inning game.

Coby Krajewski, Cheyenne Brabham, and Nevada Waterman combined to strike out twelve, walk five and give up three hits in the seven inning, 5 – 4 victory. At the plate for Shinglehouse, Kent Costello hit a double and had 2 RBIs. Nevada Waterman, Coby Krajewski, Garrett Babcock collected two hits each.

Doing an outstanding job on the mound for Coudersport Purple was Darren Keglovits and Andrew Rigas. Darren and Andrew combined to strike out 8, walk 5 and give up 8 hits. At the plate, Andrew Rigas went 2 for 3.

Shinglehouse will be hosted by Port Allegany Black on Thursday, May 14th at 6:00pm.

Nice job to Coudy Purple too. They will play again Thursday at 6pm at CARP against Coudy Blue.

Coudy Blue beat Austin yesterday.

The umpire was terrible, but was the same for both teams so it was fair. That's as close to bitching as you'll probably hear. Way to go both teams it was a great game.

reminds me of the coudy dynasties in the early 90's.. now those were some good teams...

OMG!!!! Coudy dynasties, dream on. Let these kids play and read their write-ups without you old guys thinking in the past. Get a life, the only ones that remember are the parents and the kids that played....

I would think more of Coudersport if they didn't have that "dilldine" banner hanging on the fence at their home games.

coudersport LL was had a record of 43-2 the 3 years i played...that is a dynasty to me...plus many of the kids on the team went onto play college ball...a pretty damn good dynasty if you ask me....
