Steve,

Awesome pics! You should do up an album for the parents to purchase if they want. I think it would be great to have the pics as well as the postings that went along with the game etc. Sure do appreciate your postings here.

Speaking of atheletic talent congradulations to Corey Shaffer from Coudersport and why was this not in the papers? It was in the blog a few days ago. I know his father the lawyer Mr. Shaffer and I think this is great:
"Coudersport's Corey Shaffer just won a Golden Gloves boxing bout on Friday night and is turning pro as a welterweight!
He will have his first fight in July at Las Vegas on the same card as that Gomez guy who is ranked number two by the WBC. There is a clip of Friday's fight on the Golden Gloves YouTube site.
Good luck to another professional athlete from this area and congratulations to Shaffers in Coudersport."

Steve, you should go professional with your photo talent!!! Your pictures show such depth of everyday life. I'm sure this comes from the love of what you do best. Cheryl

To poster 10:48:00;

Things don't magically appear in news papers. If the newspaper isn't covering the event, somebody has to either call or email the sports editor to report the event. After every game the Shinglehouse coach calls the Bradford Era's sports editor to report the outcome and highlights of the game.

I would have to say same on the Corey Shaffer camp for not spreading the news.

Here is an idea. Instead of burying the news in a comment totally unrelated to your message, why not have a new blog created?

Funny, no matter what the article is about, it always comes back to Coudy. Sorry guys it is not always about you. If you want articles on Coudersport residents send it in, don't bring it up in a completely unrelated article.
It is a great accomplishment for Shaffer and wish him the best. Worked with his mom, a nice lady.

Folks, it's about the kids....nothing more. Leave it that way!

I was at a game over there a week or 2 back.and I must say they have the worst fans ever.They were booing a hurt player from coudy. These people have no class and it gives the whole team and town a bad name.

ryan i like to say sorry for the poor sportmanship there are some people dont care about others its sad for people to act that way

I have been at the Shinglehouse LL games and would like to know who you heard booing....When this sort of thing happens the ones listening to it should confront the officials and make it known who is being the A-whole.

corey shaffer is not a boxer, good try though.

Ryan;

I was at that game and paying attention to what was going on. Nobody was "booing" the injured catcher. Those fans were reacting to the false accusation that the Coudersport coach made about a bat being thrown by the batter who bunted the ball. The batter dropped the bat on home plate and the catcher tripped on it making a play on the ball. Next time pay attention to what is actually going on around you, so that you will know fact from fantasy.

The coudersport catcher was hurt and most of the fans in the shinglehouse stands were booing thats the fact. This is a kids game and there is no room for that crap.and thats the facts.

Ryan, this is why police would rather have evidence over an eye witness. Very unreliable to what you think you heard and why. I would not accuse anyone much less several people of what you are. I believe you are probably a trouble maker and not just at this game. Next time open your ears and eyes to what is going on.

ryan if there was booing it bad but can you just not pay attention to the fan or confront them because of it or is it jealousy

coudersport or should i say winersport
