Two Escaped Murderers Caught In Hornell

HORNELL POLICE ARREST DANGEROUS ARKANSAS CONVICTS

Been on the run since Friday
Canisteo Valley News
Two Arkansas convicts who escaped from the state prison on Friday have been apprehended in Hornell.

Reports indicate the two were speeding in Allegany County. A trooper gave chase followed by other police vehicles. The convicts drove into Hornell where local police joined the chase.

Their vehicle reportedly crashed at the corner near the Sawyer Street apartments and they fled on foot only to be caught by officers Kate Gleason and Todd Giglio.

The two are now in the city jail and will be returned to Arkansas.

This is pretty interesting. I think their escape was a national news story. I was forced to listen to CNN at work because Fox isn't available and talked about this jail break. Wonder if they drove through Potter County before ending up in Alleghany County? Thanks for sharing this Solomon.

I watched that story on TV too. Amazing they were caught so close to here. They were saying that Arkansas is a "small" and "tightly knit" state and that citizens and law enforcement officials were aware of these guys and they would catch them. I guess they got out of dodge fast. Good job police in Alleghany County!

Yeah for the Yankies, they did what how many other states failed to notice. Thank God these guys will be locked up, and hopefully not so easy to escape next time. They were killers, maybe they should get the death sentence to make sure they kill no one else.

i'm glad they caught them.

Ever notice how many guys are caught for speeding or running a stop sign or some other traffic violation when they are on the run?? How dumb do you have to be? If you are on the run, you'd think you'd be "vewy, vewy careful".......Amazing.

They escaped from the pen
And fled the state
Got caught on radar
At an excessive rate

The chase was on
Their cover lost
They must getaway
Whatever the cost

Down the highway
At a blistering pace
Backup has been called
To join the race

A dead end street
Time to bail
Caught in the manhunt
And now back in jail

I'm LMAO right now. Were you tied down??? Did they waterboard you???
Cut the melodrama...."forced to listen to CNN..." I'm still laughing;)

CNN is pretty painful, especially on the radio. they have a guy I think named Cafferty who sounds just like Lou Dobbs, so you think you're listening to Lou Dobbs all the time.

It is comparable to torture. I know where this person is coming from.
