Don H. Six, 78, of 153 Lincoln Street, Westfield, PA

Don H. Six, Age 78, of 153 Lincoln Street, Westfield, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at his residence.

He was born March 10, 1931 in Hundred, West Virginia, the son of George and Attie Himelrick Six.

He retired after working for "33" years for Dominion Transmission Corp. Don also worked nights hauling milk for local farmers. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served during the Korean War.

He is survived by his daughter, Belinda Flynn and Marlin Burrell, Westfield, PA; grandchildren, Patricia and Chad Carpenter, Sabinsville, PA, David Flynn and Jessica Crane, and Brandon Flynn, Westfield, PA; three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson; sisters-in-law, Marian (Bob) Schultz, Buffalo, NY and Bonnie Schultz, Westfield, PA; brothers-in-law, Mike (Cleoria) McCullen, Westfield, PA and Roger (Theresa) McCullen, Westfield, PA; sisters, Nelda (Clyde) Woolery, Jefferson, PA and Betty Young, Waynesburg, PA; and brother, Kenneth (Marketta) Six, Rockcreek, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta; brothers, George, Dorsey, Howard, Neil and Ralph Six; and sisters, Ruth Kozack and Velma Six.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1-2 p.m. at the Kenyon Funeral Home, Inc., 222 West Main Street, Westfield, PA. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Aungst officiating. Burial in Champlin Cemetery, Westfield, PA.

Memorial donations may be made to your local chapter of the American Cancer Society in Don's memory.
