Charges Pending Against Emporium Driver Who Fled Crash Scene

Charges are pending against an Emporium driver, who after swerving to miss a deer, crashed into a guiderail on Route 120, about a mile west of Beechroad Road on August 12th.

Justin G. Stuart, 28, Emporium, PA, was driving a 2000 Jeep Wrangler west on Route 120 in Shippen Township, when he avoided the deer and hit the guardrail. He then fled the scene. State Police in Emporium said neither Stuart or his passenger, Troy S. Krivonyak, 38, of St. Marys, was injured.
