91??? is he 91??? I think he's not 91??? Did the address of the other guy get mixed up with the age of the first ?

And the second guy is not "Beaver," the one who used to peddle dildines and doughnuts at the Market Basket many years ago. Same name but different person.

Wow I can't believe any state or local police officer just didn't give him a ride home. 91 years old give the guy a break.

A local officer probably would have...That's the state for ya...

91 and a dui and you think he deserves a break??
1) He is wayyyy old enough to know better.

2) Old age plus alcohol plus driving = he is lucky he didn't kill anyone.

3) If he would have killed someone, what would you have told the family of the people he killer? Hey don't get mad at him, he is an old man. He didn't mean to kill your family member, let's just forget about it.

4) He needs to have his license taken away forever.

Nobody I know that's much younger than Bill!Hunted with him a number of times just a few years back.Walked my legs off just keeping up!Sounds like he was driving home from the watering hole within eyesight of his house.Guess he got a bad deal on this one!

You people have no idea about this man. He might be 91 but he looks like he is in his late 70's. He is probablly in better condition then some of you people who are better than thou. The snotty nose cop just waited for someone to leave the establishment so he could make arrest. I think he could have taken him home and given him a warning. A friend of Bill's

Bill might be 61 he isn't 91. but he does have a artificial leg so walking a straight line may have been tough.

"He needs to have his license taken away forever."

Just how long is forever when you are 91?

To 5:47 are those cops stalking bar-rooms again?

As for Beaver Saulter, I remember the doughnuts but I don't think the dildines hit town until sometime in the late 1990s when the chants started at the basketball games and Mr. Kuratomi tried to make us stop chanting and holding up the banners.
We had the whole gym at Clarion University just a rockin to the old dildine and then on national TV with the posters they showed on Fox Network when the Kinney kid pitched in the World Series.
I used to work at the good ol' Market Basket back then with Sonny and Fuzzy and Stan was just an employee and Alan The Bag Shalkowski and Bill Grabe did some bagging of groceries. Tim Faust was there back then. Is he still there now?
I bet there would be quite an alumni association of former workers at the MB and now the Jube!
So whatever happened to Alan the Bag?

The 61 year old Bill you speak of is his son.

91 or 61 the law is the law.
Why should a 91 yr old be treated any different than a 21 yr old who has been out boozing and crusing. Either one could cause a terible accident and harm innocent people?

I remember the good old days at the MB. Are Karen and Tim and Arlene still there? When I was a bagboy there I figured they were lifers. Some guy named Pep was there too and we all liked Fuzzy Russell. I remember Bags Shalikowski and his old junker cars and saying Cflute all the time. Our boss was Junior Caldwell and we used to give him a hard time but it was always just in fun and he was a great boss. Us bagboys knew who all the big tippers were and we would fall over each other trying to carry out their grocerys. If you ever do have a reunion for MB employees I will come home just for that so post it on here.

He was old enough to know better and forget even quicker..

Alan the Bag Shalkowski was alive and well and running a business somewhere out in Arizona as of two weeks ago. Whoever posted that comment above either has some very fresh information or is very misinformed.
