9:00 am – 10:30 am – “Morning Kayak Paddle” - Join one of Sinnemahoning State Park’s naturalists for a morning kayak paddle through the islands and wetland areas of the George B. Stevenson reservoir. Venture into secluded coves and inlets… hear some stories of the lumbering days of the First Fork valley, and watch for birds and animals that now inhabit those areas. A brief kayaking-skills session will precede the tour. This program is registration-only, and spaces are limited. Cost is $8.00 per person, or $20.00 per family group. Kayaks, PFD's, and paddles are provided. Please call the park office at 814-647-8401 for more information, or to reserve your space

4:00 pm – “Afternoon Adventures”– Connect to the outdoors and nature on our afternoon adventure. Meet the park naturalist at the campground amphitheater and join us for a short Lowlands Trail hike. Hiking shoes, water and insect repellent are recommended.

8:30 pm – “Traveling Minstrels” – Join the park naturalist at the campground amphitheater as we explore the life of migratory birds. They grace the commonwealth with their timeless beauty, vibrant color and individual songs. Over time, their numbers have decreased because of man induced perils. Let us show you some simple ways to help conserve these avian treasures.
