Roulette Habitat House Work Schedule Update

VOLUNTEER UPDATE for SEPTEMBER 23rd, 2009

THANK YOU to all the Volunteers who have been working with us on the Roulette Habitat House. To date we have had more than 60 Volunteers!

UPCOMING WORK SCHEDULE:

We will be working on the outside of the Roulette Habitat house for the next few days. Saturday, Sept. 26th will be Landscaping day! We need Volunteers with shovels, pitch forks, rakes, wheelbarrows, and any perennials which you would like to share with Betty. Now is a good time to separate those perennials which have grown too large for their space. Donate them to Habitat! We could also use a couple small front end loaders. Lunch will be provided on Saturday by the Shared Ministries of Coudersport.

In the next two days, the house will be insulated on the interior. On Monday, September 28th, we will finish hanging the drywall. The rest of the week will be used to finish the taping, sanding and preparing the walls for painting.

Painting of the interior is scheduled for Saturday, October 10th and Monday, October 12th, 2009. Please bring some paint trays – we will provide rollers and long handles.

WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF RECIPES FOR THE POTTER COUNTY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY COOKBOOK: It is not too late to send them to Tami at parkumc@zitomedia.com, or to 15 E. Third Street, Coudersport, PA 16915

A special thank you to Randy Lambert and his crew for providing lunch last Saturday for the Volunteers.

Thank you, Volunteers – your help and interest are appreciated so much !

Sincerely, Jim and Charlotte Blain,
Volunteer Coordinators
