Dorla's Going Home Today

Hi Jim

Here's a picture of my sister Dorla Tucker and me. I wondered if you could put it on Solomons word so we can let all of Dorla's friends know that she's finally going home today (Friday.)

She's been a resident at Sweden Valley Manor since July after suffering from a fall. Since then she's gone through two surgeries at Geisinger and extensive rehabilitation at the Manor.

When she first began this journey almost four months ago, I wondered if she would be able to return to her home in Colesburg where she and Sonny have lived for more than 50 years. But her courage and determination never wained and the loving and compassionate care she received at Sweden Valley Manor helped her regain her strength and she's finally going to be back home where she belongs.

She wants to thank everyone at the Manor who helped her and to her friends and family for all they've done for both her and Sonny all these months. Her devoted children have been incredible and the love and support she's gotten from so many will never be forgotten.

Thanks so much.
Shirlee

OMG!!! Dorla, I was just watching old home movies last weekend and you were in them. Back when I was a little girl and our families spent so much time together!! I remember running around at your house like it was yesterday!Hope you continue to do well!
