Johnsonburg Beam Deliveries Start Friday
Delays could be lengthy at times
Clearfield – Beam delivery for the Johnsonburg Bypass project will begin on Friday, October 9 on Route 219 in Elk County. Motorists can expect delays during the delivery of beams, with the delivery schedule running through October 28. Beam deliveries will be intermittent and occur during the workweek.
Motorists should remain alert for slowed and/or stopped traffic along Route 219, from the top of Bootjack Mountain into Johnsonburg. During beam deliveries, long delays are expected in downtown Ridgway at the intersection of Route 219 and Route 948 (Main Street). Drivers may want to consider using alternate routes.
