Man Facing Charge Of Failing To Comply With Sex Offender Registration

Failure To Comply
A Sharon Township man was arrested Tuesday by State Police for Failure To Comply With Sex Offender Registration.

Cabot John Densmore, 45, of Shinglehouse, PA, was arraigned before District Judge Barbara Easton who released Densmore on $10,000.00 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled on October 22, 2009 at 9:30 AM.

Sex offenders don't comply with registration because they don't want others knowing what they are doing. He was obviously arrested and convicted of some sort of terrible crime to begin with that would force him to register with Meagan's law. Why would Barb release this guy without some sort of posted bail?? Thank god she is done after this term....worthless!!

"obviously arrested and convicted of some sort of terrible crime to begin with"

Well, not everyone who has to register with under Megans law committed a terrible crime. Some of them are just ~17 year old kids sexting with their GF/BF.

The point of Meagan's law is that it is SUPPOSED to be a warning to people that they are dangerous, but reality falls far short of that.

I have to wonder if the first poster use to post her name and occupation when she talked about Judge Easton, but has since "decided" not to give all that information.

No no wondering!! I was out of town and just read this. SO, guess I am not the only one that feels she does not deserve to be in the position she is. Oh, and you continue to write anonymously :) So loud but so scared. Tells lies but still hides.

Becareful Marcia, look what happended to a local canidate running for Judge when he raised a fuss about anonymous posts on here. Didn't work out so well for him.

"So loud but so scared. Tells lies but still hides." Is that a poem or something?

If you don't like the law, work to change it.

Until then, good job on the arrest, poor job on the bail...again....

I agree this person should have registered.
Some people are arrested and sentenced when they are innocent. I believe a person should be innocent until proven guilty which is not the way things are done a lot of times. Don't judge a book by its cover.
If you don't like the way she handled this situation then vote for a change.

Failure to comply? In Shinglehouse none of the perverts need to comply. The last one that was charged doesn't have to comply with his conditions of bail, still goes to the bars and drinks, and still makes attempts to contact the girl through her friends. Police know but nothing is done! It's not just Barb's fault in that town!

I can attest to the fact that this man did do a terrible crime. He raped a girl from the time she was 15 till she was 18. I know this for a fact, because it was me that he did this to. The sad part about him getting arrested for not registering is that this was his second time doing so in PA withing 6 months from the last time. Some people just think they are above the law.
