Ronald G. Fay, Age 87, of 442 E. Main St., Westfield, PA, passed away October 8, 2009 at his home.

He was born December 17, 1921 in Elkland, PA, the son of Gordon and Ethel Button Fay.

He retired from Eberle Tanning Co., was a World War II veteran, avid sportsman, enjoyed collecting knives and coins and spending time with his great-great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons, Kevin (Holly) Fay of Bethel, CT, Lynn "Stub" Fay of Westfield, PA; daughters, Joyce Ahearn and Richard Ray of Jena, LA, Mary Stevens of Lithia, FL, Penny (Ralph) Tormey of Westfield; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Beverly) Fay of Potterbrook, PA, Richard (Eva) Fay of Potterbrook; sisters, Phyllis Cutlip of Brookville, FL, Alice Grover of Galeton, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha; son, Ronald Jr.; grandsons, Donald Burdick III and Justin Aldrich; brothers, William and Keith; and sister, Marie Adams.

Friends are invited to call at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St., Westfield, PA, Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m, Pastor Lewis Young officiating. Burial will be in Champlin Cemetery, Westfield, PA, with Full Military Honors. Memorial donations may be made to the Sabinsville Vol. Ambulance Assn.
