Roulette Native/Writer, Illustrator At Wellsboro Gallery In November

Jim Obleski, son of Bert and Gloria Obleski and Roulette native is having a "one man show" in the gallery at the Gmeiner Art and Cultural Center in Wellsboro, Pa.

There is a reception Sunday, November 1 st from 2 to 4 PM to kick off the gallery show.The show will continue until November 27 th.

Jim wrote and illustrated for a number of years for the Leader Enterprise, producing his much loved "Woodland Notes"

He currently illustrates and occasionally writes for the "Pennsylvania Game News" and has been chosen to do artwork for two covers and has a cover coming out next year. He also illustrates and has done a number of stories for the "Mountain Home" publication.

Jim will be joined at the Gallery by his wife Becky who will be displaying her hand knit and felted purses.

This is just wonderful! I am so glad to know that Jim is getting some recognition for his incredible artwork. His talent is breathtaking. My husband and I are certainly looking forward to attending this show. And for the record, I love Becky's work too!

Hi Jim, I totally agree with Carolyn. I went to school with your older brother Bert. I remember very well your artwork that was displayed through the high school years. You are very blessed to have such a talent. It was exciting for me to read about your exhibit. Great success!! Jerry Goochee
