Bonlyn I. "Bonnie" Moon, 80, of Westfield, PA

Bonlyn I. "Bonnie" Moon, 80, of Westfield, PA, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Evington, VA.

Born April 2, 1929, in Westfield, she was the daughter of Jay and Bessie Weeks Kilbourne. On November 13, 1948, in Westfield, she married Lynn H. Moon, who predeceased her on February 3, 2000.

She was employed by Galeton Production for 29 years, K&W Medical in Westfield for two years, and Electri-Cord in Westfield for eight years, retiring in 1987.

Bonnie was a member of the Potter Brook People's Church.

Surviving are: a daughter, Irene (Don) Lowrey of Evington; grandchildren, Julie (Raymond) Hand of Harrison Valley, Stephen (Danielle) Walters of Westfield, Eric (Renae) Lowrey of Brookneal, VA, Tony (Andrea) Lowrey of Lynchburg, and Jenifer Lowrey of Brookneal; seven great-grandchildren; a step-son, Robert (Naomi) Moon of Westfield; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Barry; a daughter, Candy Jo; three sisters, Josephine Kelly, Delilah Wright, and Evelyn Smith; and two step-sons, Claude "Skip" Moon and Lynn Moon, Jr.

Friends may call Saturday, November 28th from 2:00 -- 4:00 and 7:00 -- 9:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday in the Potter Brook People's Church. The Rev. David L. Aungst will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Potter Brook, PA.
