Check the local Coyote Clan..
Seriously, since the deer herd is down, yotes have adapted to take to eating domestic cats and dogs. it's common knowledge coyotes will adapt to their environment. If there is no other "meat" around they will search for another source.. easy pick'ins...

Wiley,

He went missing at around Noon though. People were shooting off their guns and at first we were all thinking(btw the dog is my aunts dog) that he got scared and hid some where b.c he is terrified of noises like that but he has since not come home.

I personally don't see this dog going to just anyone at random. He got out on my mom and I one time and he wouldn't even come to us. I agree with the 9:59 comment that if you know anything good or bad to please call the number listed above and just tell us. We are all so worried about him! :(

Also Jim could you please put this photo of Max in the original entry to go along with the one above. It's much a better picture of him. Although it was taking a year ago and he had a haircut he still looks the same pretty much just longer hair now. He also has the same collar on:

Thank You

Hi this is my Aunts niece again,

I would like to update you all and tell you that Max returned to us! He came home late last night. I am so happy! Must be he got scared and ran into the woods. He was covered in pine needles, was cold, and hungry. <3

I'm glad he came back. Around here too many pets come up missing. Certain people like to shoot "strays"
