Fred G. Klesa, 93, of Coudersport, PA died Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport.
Born on October 12, 1916 in Inez, PA he was the son of Fred A. and Lydia Guenther Klesa. On December 30, 1949 in Port Allegany, PA he married Madeline M. Morey who died on March 27, 1980. On February 7, 1987 he married Vera Weickart who survives.
Mr. Klesa was a veteran of World War II having served with the U. S. Army and was a self-employed excavating contractor. He was a member of American Legion Potter Post 192, the National V. F. W., the National Rifle Association, the Potter County Snowmobile Club, and was on the board of the Homer Cemetery Association.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a brother, Edwin B. Klesa of Shinglehouse, PA, a sister, Mary Nanson of Silver Spring, MD, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Klesa.
Friends may call from 6-8pm Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the Fickinger Funeral Home, Coudersport, where funeral and committal services will be at 1:00pm Friday with the Reverend H. D. Youngblood, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Homer Cemetery in Inez.

We're all going to miss you Fred!
Uncle Fred was many things to many people. He was quiet, brilliant,humble,hard working, respected,frugal, and enjoyed helping people especially if you needed something fixed. I know I miss him
