Be careful what you say about God's people, the word of God Says, " Touch not My anointed & do no harm to My prophets ".

I don't know about you, but I'll bet that they put their pants on the same way that I do. Does that make me one of Gods anointed if I don't go to church?

Especially seeing how every year they get one step, or more, closer to total domination of the local political venue... Hell, one of them is now the Judge... I remember when they were a small congregation, rolling on the basement floor of their pastors house, now look at how big they have become... And yes, I have been to a service or two at the church, back in the day, to see what it was all about for myself... Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking the churches as a whole, nor the values of those that attend them... I just see less and less of a separation of church and state locally, and feel that that the Tabernacle has a few too many fingers in the pie of the local government... Guess it won't matter much come the end of December 2012...

Considering about 85% of Potter County's population says they are christian, it's not surprising to me that our government locally tends to have a majority of christians.

The Gospel Tabernacle in Coudersport has a large congregation. It also does not surprise me that some of that congregation is active in local government.

I attended a service at the Gospel Tabernacle 8 years ago, and have attended regularly ever since.

It is a full gospel church that believes in prayer, prophesy, speaking in tongues, healing, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Bible, and making a joyful noise unto the Lord.

In the eight years I have attended, the only person I have seen roll on the floor was a man who had a seizure.

Pastor Minor is in my opinion, about as close to God's image as any man on this earth, and I feel privileged to have him as my spiritual leader.

The members of the Tabernacle support several churches and orphanages in Romania and lend support to missionaries around the world.

Because it is right for me, doesn't mean that it would be for you.

There are many wonderful churches in the area that you may find right for you, and I am sure they will welcome you to their congregation.

Three cheers to Jim for that comment above. Small-minded bigots in our community should be called out for what they are. Remember when August Kreis was around here spewing his hatred based on skin color, or religious affiliation or whatever other rubbish he was spouting? You who wrote that at 11:12 are of the same ilk. Kudoses and dildines to Jim for his comment above. I a sick of hearing from you paranoid, bigoted wackos.

Thanks Jim, very well said!!!!
The first time I attended Gospel Tabernacle 15 yrs ago and still attending. I myself have never seen anyone roll on the floor either. I remember yrs. ago, my Grandmother was a Free Methodist Church member and rumors had it they were holy rollers too. I attended services with Granmma and again never saw any one roll on the floor. God honors those who honor Him!

My Mamma always said if someone is not talking about you, they're leaving someone else alone.
I agree with 1:17 and of course Jim and 1:22!

The people who have been elected to these honorable posts are of the highest moral character that you can find in this area regardless of where they go to church. I feel some of the commenters here are a little crooked and therefore see everyone else in that light. That just aint so! The Tab teaches the Christian standards of right living and care for your fellow man. By the way the separation of church and state was to keep the state out of religion not religion out of the state.
The founding fathers had no problem putting God into their personal and public life.

Some of you people in Potter County need to get a life and for " petes sake " leave those people alone that attend Gospel Tabernacle! Enough is enough! As 12:42 says becareful what you say about God'd people!
Judgment comes back!

only in potter county...

over the last few weeks, we have ripped churches, teachers, and volunteer firemen.

we are half way there. let's crush babies, puppies, and our military folks and I think it's a clean sweep.

It is not just in Potter County, it is in every county you will find some people that enjoy bashing others so just consider the source it comes from! they do not care who they bash, teacher's, preacher's, doctor's, president's, govt. officials, etc. I hope aqnd pray they do not go as far as crushing babies, puppies and our military men & women!
