Philip M. Johnson 70, of 52 Sherman St. Bradford, passed away, Thursday, December 17th, 2009 at UPMC- Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born December 17, 1939 in Ridgeway he was the only son of the late Maurice R. and Edith (Billings) Johnson. He was a 1957 graduate of Bradford High School.

He was formerly employed at Dresser Manufacturing Company in the QC department, he was the Parts Manager at Casey Cole Chevrolet, and prior to his retirement was the manager at Risner Auto Parts retiring in 2000.

He formerly attended Church of the Ascension, he was a member of the Marchee Club, and a former member of the Eagles Club and the Moose Lodge. He had a passion for restoring antique cars, drag racing, and boating on the Kinzua Dam.

Surviving are three daughters: Natalie L. Johnson of Cleveland, Christine A. Johnson, and Martha J. Corley, both of Pittsburgh, and one granddaughter Lili Corley.

Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday December 29, 2009 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave. from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at which time funeral and committal will be held with Rev. Leo Gallina, pastor, of St. Bernard Church officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park
