Apparently someone finally woke up and figured out that it was scheduled for New Year's Eve. DUH!

What is SALDO?

Anonymous said...

saldo = subdivision and land development ordinance

DUH!! It was scheduled for New Years Eve because that is the last day for current supervisors.

This is an attempt by the township supervisors to open up the township to wind turbine development with very friendly regulations. The fact that one of the supervisors who takes office next week happens to be in line to make the most money from this political ploy and greatly diminish his neighbors' quality of life as a result of his greed is interesting. What has happened in Ulysses Township is democracy at its worst because the people's rights and protection of the public health, safety and welfare was turned into "road kill" while the protection of certain people's financial interests filled the best seats of the limousine. That's the real answer to the SALDO question.

You are a NIMBY of the worst kind!

"What has happened in Ulysses Township is democracy at its worst"

You have got to be kidding, sounds like a poor loser to me!

Democracy at its worst?

There was just an election in the township and it seems to me that the people of the township let their voices be heard, they voted in who they wanted on this board. Guess you disagree with the majority of YOUR neighbors in the township!

Get a grip will ya?

You bad mouth James Hoopes every chance you get, just remember, "karma is a bitch" and it will come back and bite you right square in the butt!

Guess your rude friends that attended the township meeting held at Northern Potter lost their battle of the turbines too! The turbines went in on armenia mountain...as they will on Fox Hill and surrounding area!

You "Save God's Country" people could not see past the tip of your noses, maybe you should have done your home work a little better. Ya know, like the County does not regulate the townships ordinances, DUH!!! What a waste of county tax payers money...

Without GREED, who would be willing to print all those boguss campain flyers?

Look at all the money they make off of the men and women running for office.

Waste of taxpayers money????? The Wind Companies have come out and said that they will follow a County's plan. So it looks like it is the Townships that are wasting money. As far as Mr. Hoopes being a Supervisor "Good For Him" he has removed himself from all matters Wind related because of Conflict of intrest. As far as being able to see the turbines from a distance Yes they are neat to look at, but having one out your back door for the rest of your life is different. The more people that find out there is one slated for there back yard the more voices SGC has. It takes a Wind Turbine of this size 10 years to make back the Energy used to build, transport, and erect it. There are much better ways to be green.

"It takes a Wind Turbine of this size 10 years to make back the Energy used to build, transport, and erect it."

Then we had better quit pissing and moaning about them and get them up, time is awastin'!

I don't think so, time will tell now won't it?! These companies WILL erect wind turbines on land they have signed contracts for, that is a FACT!

Get them up and running and lets start using our heads instead of worrying about how much money our neighbor stands to gain from green energy!

Get over it all ready, greed?

Some of you people seem to have GREED of power of being a pain in your neighbor's butts!

the real answer is you don't have a clue what you are whinning about...saldo is the ordinance that regulates the township planning commission that superceeds the counties planning commission and ordinance...there is a fine line between common sense and stupidity and some people are projecting expert opinions in complaints that are useless trivia

4:03:00 PM...Is this you Otto?

You all ready lost as a "write in" in the township election and your ploy to try to have Jim removed made the front page of the Leader Enterprise.

Judge Leete made the right decision, you lost not only once but twice, get over it!

Anonymous said...

Wait a minute. The only reason Judge Leete ruled like he did was because Otto waited too long to file his complaint. The complaint was valid but Otto waited too long. Read it and you'll see I am right.

Once again, two people can read the same article and get something different out of it!

Judge Leete pointed out the financial information was included not excluded. Otto was trying to imply it was not included because it was not signed, BIG difference.

You are right, Otto did wait too long but I do not think Leete would have ruled any other way even if he had done it within 7 days instead of months!
