Kenneth L. Cleaveland, 86, of 1079 Gardeau Rd., Austin, PA died at Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, PA Friday (January 8, 2010) morning. He was born Feb 7, 1923 in Norway, Maine a son of the late H. Lowell and Hazel Benett Cleaveland.

On August 11, 1945 in First Baptist Church, Emporium He married Maxine Peasley Cleaveland who Survives. Mr. Cleaveland served with the US Army during WW II. He retired from Sylvania where he worked for over 35 years. He worked for Emporium Hardware for several years after retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Emporium where he served as a Lifetime Decon and Sunday School Superintendant and teacher. He was a member of the Emporium Lodge #382, F.and A.M. and the Coudersport Consistory.

Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 424 N. Broad Street, Emporium on Monday (January 11, 2010) at 11:00 AM with Rev. R. Scott Melott, Pastor, officiating.

A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.

Visitation with Video Tribute will be at the Barnett Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2-5 PM where a Masonic Service will take place at 4:45 PM. Burial will be in the Portage Township Cemetery, Gardeau, PA
