Weird things happen at the Amidon farm...

first his barn burned down from an electrical fire, but I didn't know the barn was wired for electricity...

then he gets a cow shot....

Something doesn't seem right here...

A $2000 steer must me a good one
thats about 3 times market price.

This is not the only cow that was shot. There was one shot in Sharon Center 2 years ago, and it wasn't hunting season. Still don't know who did it.

Only in Potter County!

To the poster at 3:09pm..DONT BE SO IGNORANT! Or is that your every day job?? Im sure if this happened to somebody you really new,you would think otherwise, right? It's people like you that cause all the problems around this town!! The Amidons are very nice people who dont deserve any of your smart a$$ remarks,so keep them to yourself please!!

If we don't question, we will not know thw truth!

People should really start minding their own business. Doesn't anyone have anything else better to do then to worry about those who they probably don't even know!

Wow! If the first poster is correct.... this is quite interesting....

Definately some unusual activities lately on the Amidon farm. One thing I do know for sure - there isn't a steer in the whole valley worth $2000.

It sure sounds like we shouldn't be minding our own business about this....

Shady business is going on and it needs to be brought to the attention of the correct people.....

who was the fire investigator??

There could be a huge conspiracy going on....

hopefully the SP will get to the bottom of this business...

A Shinglehouse Asst. fire chief
(ME) and PSP Trooper Surra the fire marshall.
We found the point of origin at the right front of the barn the electric short was found..

The steer was the biggest dear that flatlander ever saw....

If I were the insurance agent for Amidon, I would definitely be looking into both of these situations....

$2000 steer??

my dog I got at the pound is worth $5000.......

First, it seems we have alot of smart a$$ comments. Yes, there was electric to the barn. Second, if you don't have the facts then don't gossip. It was a bull not a steer. (just to correct you all) I think many of you have too much time on your hands and should mind your own business.

I second the comment above! Oh and the 11:25 comment(2 above) you might want to sell that dog dang you can get some money out of it. And too bad your NOT the Amidon's insurance agent so SORRY! PEOPLE MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS

I have been in that barn before and as stated by other poseters there was electric and running water. As for the $2000 dollar bull it is not uncommon there are others in the shinglehouse area that are also worth that much. Jason is a good guy and you people need to stop trying to run his name through the mud. Hope they found out who did it Jason.
