And the "known" juvenile got expelled last year for bringing in prescription drugs, she took from someone else! Guess she did not learn her lesson.

She has anger issues, after all, this was do to a problem on the cheerleading squad, grow up! Ten days out of school is not punishment enough, hope her and her parents will be legally responsible for the Plank girls medical bill!

This is not an incident of harassment- this is assault. Think maybe it's time to take the known juvenile out behind the woodshed for some learnin

The girl should be made responsible for the Plank girls medical bills not the parents, that's the trouble with the kids today, they are not held accountable for their actions! She certainly is old enough to work @ 18. and she should pay for the bills!

This is one tough school. I feel bad for the kids.

A non-trafic citation for an act that meets the critera for simple assault? I respect the troopers most of the time, but this is just silly. Citations are less paperwork, but this girl is trouble and should have had charges, not just a fine (that she probably won't pay anyway)

i HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH COMMENT 8:23 Northern Potter is NOT a tough school--like every other school, it has a few "tough" kids that make it miserable for all the good kids. As for this incident, the good kid, Kasandra, is in National Honor Society, and one of the nicest girls you can ever meet. I do not know who the girl is for sure, but if my guess is correct--she is really not a nice person and you cannot judge an entire school by her actions.

The known juvenile is not 18, the Plank girl is 18. That is why the known juvenile's name is not mentioned!

And as far as I am concerned her parents should be made financially responsible, heck the rest of us were until our kids were 18 years old!

Anger management is what this young lady needs. That and the fact she should be living at home with her parents and they should be making her be respectful. Not make her live with her grandmother because they can not handle her or make her mind. I'd make her mind all right with my foot up her butt!

KaSandra is a very nice young lady and did not deserve to be attacked! She gets good grades in school, plans to attend college, and is a good stewart in her community, I'd say Northern Potter has quit a few "good" kids!

No, she doesn't need anger management. What she needs is a good old fashioned ass kickin....

If the girl is 18,She is responsible!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Read it again, the juvenile punched the 18 year old... "A known female juvenile punched and then struck" juvenile means under the age of 18!

I'm sorry I now see where the juvenile punched the other girl, but don't you think she should still be held responsible & accountable for what she did? I know what I'd do if she were my daughter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She probably would have a hard time sitting for awhile!

The school needs to step in and do some sort of disciplinary action!

Northern Potter should have been keeping an eye on the situation between these two girls. One got kicked off the cheer leading squad for causing too much drama--and the captain of the squad, Kasandra, just so happened to have all of that girls rage taken out on her face. The school was aware that after the girl got kicked off, that the girl went to the school parking lot and kicked/spit on Kasandra's car, and they heard from others that she was threatening to "kick her *butt*" so why wasn't the school paying more attention to her, and being more aware that Kasandra would more than likely be attacked?!?! I hope that Kasandra gets the best out of this situation!

I think "the juvenile" is old enough to know better, and should be held accountable for her own actions. Obviously she has a jealousy issue with Kasandra and even told others of her intentions. She is a senior also, ready to make her way in the world, obviously, at the rate she is going, it will be behind bars. This girl is trouble, with a capital T. She should be responsible for all the medical bills and should be kicked out of the school and made to finish her education on her own. As someone else said, Kasandra is a national honor society student with a good head on her shoulders, take it to the max, girl.

Doesn't No Po have a "no bully" policy? What happened here?

What about the paid cheerleading coach? Where is she in all of this? Has she been keeping the administration abreast of the squad problems?

I hope Scott Graham gets a handle on this "known juvenile" before anyone else becomes her target!
We have a nice school with good kids and I would like to keep it this way!

Oh small town drama. It sounds like a Lifetime movie. But seriously....it should probably be looked into a little more seriously as these types of incidents can get out of hand even further down the road. If the warning signs are there -- the school should take them seriously. This is how school shootings & other bad things happen.
