This blog is not a legal place for the advertisement of a Township meeting. The township supervisors hand book states:

"For rescheduled or special meetings, notice must be
published in a newspaper of general circulation at least 24 hours in advance."

It is important that all the rules of the Handbook be followed in order for the proper administration of the business of the township.

Seeing that times are changing and News Papers are on their way to becoming Obsolete and the Internet is bringing the News faster, this was a good way of letting YOU know about the meeting.

Seems as if your OLD Hand book has become OBSOLETE!

Take it to the Outhouse with you, for as this Township gets its act together, you of all people, will need the pages out of that book.

Otto, Art, Herb is this you AGAIN?

Why don't you just try to get a long with your neighbors and township personnel?

You are becoming a thorn in everyone's side, and your persistence in not liking the change that is coming your way, BECAUSE it is not YOUR way, is really getting old. You are not the only citizen in this township and there will need to be an understanding of give and take, you are now showing your TRUE colors to each and every reader not just your neighbors!

Until this obsolete township code is updated, one still must follow the code by advertising in a newpaper of general circulation. There is no harm in announcing the meeting here as an FYI, but legally it must be published in the newspaper.

Tne rules are the rules until they are changed. The township is not above the rules. Once again, until they are legally changed, the township must follow the rules. Your (Bog-a-lot 11:04) opinion on the rules does not count.

I think this change was posted on the side of the oil tanker parked on Fox Hill. I believe that qualifies as a general publication.

Where did it say that it wasn't in the papers? Where did it say they were not following the book? Where did it say that this WAS a legal notice?... Good Lord! Is there anything you people won't complain about?

Check the paper, most townships did advertise correctly, but not Ulysses.

Roy Hunt lives in Ulysses Boro, not Ulysses Township.

3:02:00 PM So what!

What difference does it make if Roy lives in Ulysses borough or Ulysses township?

I believe he is a volunteer fire fighter, so if you do not live in the borough he does not answer the call?

Guess if he wants to state his opinion on this or any other article on this blog he has just as much right as the rest of us!

Love that Potter County Style Billboard! Talk about recycling!

Maybe the Tanker should be parked over on the Bailey Hill Road for a while.
I don’t believe Art-Herb or Otto are the only ones on here.
