Vehicle Rolled On Side In Rt. 44 Crash Monday

Unhurt In Monday Crash
A Coudersport man was uninjured Monday afternoon when he lost control of his vehicle causing it roll on it's side, 4 or 5 miles north of Rt. 49 on Rt. 44 in Hebron Township.

Andrew D. Gaberseck, 48, of Coudersport, PA, was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer south at about 50 mph on Route 44, completing a pass, when he lost control of the vehicle , drove off the roadway, up onto the bank, and rolled onto it's side. It continued to slide striking a no passing sign, ending up on it's side in the southbound lane.

Gaberseck was wearing a seat belt and was not hurt. His vehicle was rendered inoperable and was towed from the scene by Chapell's Towing Service.

Police charged him with (not) Driving A Vehicle At Safe Speed.

Coudersport Fire Department assisted troopers at the scene.
