4 Teenagers OK After Van Rolls On Gardeau Road

Van Rolled On Roof
Four Emporium teenagers escaped with only one minor injury when the van they were in traveled off the road and over an embankment, causing it to roll on it's roof off the Gardeau Road, south of T470 at 1:00 am on Monday.

A 16 year old juvenile female was driving a 1998 Plymouth Voyager Van north on Gardeau Road when she lost control of the vehicle. She was not injured but is facing charges of Careless Driving.

A 17 year old female passenger suffered a minor injury.

Passengers Cody M. Barton, 19, and Tyler J. Burfield, 18, were wearing seat belts and were not injured.

I cannot understand what parent would allow their underage/school age daughters out that late?????????? DUH!!!!!! Wake up parents-do you know where your children are????

I don't think a 16 year old is even allowed to drive that time of night are they? We used to call it having a Cinderella license. Do they still exist? Also, it is recommended that a new driver should NEVER have any passengers in the car until they have been driving for at least 6 months.

Hold the parents accountable for this one. No 16 year old should be out driving at that hour...

16 year olds in PA have jr. licenses and can not drive past 11pm unless it is school related and they have paper work with them to prove it.

16 year olds shouldn't be out that late whether they have a driver's license or not.

Okay. Tyler Burfield is not 18. He wont be 18 for awhile. So i dont know who wrote this but they should go to hell. They are teenagers. They will do stupid things. Dont you remember when you were young. So dont blame them for trying to have a little fun. Atleast they were not drinking or under the influence of anything. So next time you want to go make a false acuzation, think about it first.

P.S. Didnt you Drive at 16? dumbasses
