Roxanne R. Gamet, 51, of Route 6, East Smethport, PA

EAST SMETHPORT- Roxanne R. Gamet, 51, of Route 6, East Smethport, died Sunday (Feb. 7, 2010) at her home, with her family by her side.

Born January 27, 1959, in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Robert M. and Ardith Vanocker Stuckey.

Mrs. Gamet worked as a fiscal technician for McKean County Children and Youth Services, before her illness.

She was a lifetime resident of the area and graduated from Elmira Business Institute in 2005.
She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Port Allegany.

Surviving in addition to her paternal grandmother, Lena Stuckey of Port Allegany, are a daughter, Lynett M. (Sean) Cochran of Dublin, OH; two stepdaughters, Misty M. (Darren) Reinard and Karrie L. Page both of Port Allegany; a stepson, F. Cody Page of Portville, NY; one grandchild, several step-grandchildren; 8 brothers, Kenneth Gamet of Turtlepoint, Charles (Bert) Gamet, Russell (Heidi) Gamet, Donald ((Luann) Gamet, George (Jennifer) Carr, all of Port Allegany, William (Nancy) Stuckey of Elkland, PA, Robert (Veronica) Stuckey of Bradford, and George (Tanya) Stuckey of Port Allegany; four sisters, Linda (Harrison) Fuller of Smethport, Julie (Jay) McGee of Roulette, Lorna (Donald) Moore and Ada (Theodore) Anthony both of Port Allegany; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and life partner, Francis L. Page, who died Sept. 11, 2008.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 11, 2010) in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, with Rev. Kenneth Dunkerley, pastor of the Bradford Alliance Church, officiating. Burial will be in Card Creek Cemetery, Roulette.

Memorials can be made to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Port Allegany, or the American Cancer Society.

To Julie, Lorna, Bobby and Georgie, and the entire family of Roxy, My thoughts and prayers are with you all, I'm so sorry for your lose. Roxy will always be loved and thought of as a wonderful friend to everyone. She will be greatly and sadly missed by all the people that knew and loved her. Many Many years of childhood memories, thank God for memories. I love you Roxy, R.I.P.
