Outside Wood Boiler Regulation By The State- Coal Regulations

I hope there is some kind of a regulation for those who choose to use coal in outside burners.

Here in Ulysses, Pa. We have a commercial establishment that uses a huge outside burner and uses coal & Wood. It is a car wash / laundrymat and the owner uses coal to heat the water for both.

It smells very bad and we are even considering moving due to the fumes from this.

growing up my dad burned coal to heat the house and there was never any odor so I don't know what the first commentor is talking about. Coal doesn't produce smoke

Maybe all the perfectionist should by their own island and move there.

Coal will be taxed as well as firewood under Rendell's new budget.

B*tch, b*tch, b*tch that is what I have to say to the first poster!

You people are never ever happy unless YOU can dictate to businesses and their owners.

I for one am darn glad Henry put up the car wash / laundrymat in Ulysses. I have never even used the laundrymat but have really liked using his car wash so I do not have to make a mess in my own heated garage in the winter. Can keep the brine rinsed off my vehicle all winter long by using his car wash.

These types of people are what keep others from WANTING the headache of owning a business for sure! I guess if it bothers you that much you should move!

And I also live in Ulysses Boro and own and operate an outdoor wood boiler to heat my home, glad I have no neighbors so there is no gripping about the little bit of smoke our system produces from the wood we burn!
