Do the Rigas's still own Wedding Creek Farms??

I loved working there over the summers when I was in college.... lots of great memories.....

Just barely.

I thought Wending Creek had thousands of trees to tap. I can round up lots of people to do the tapping if your lines are still in place. Otherwise, I have access to sap in VT that can be delivered. Please let me know what price you are willing to pay.

12:32 What do you mean by barely?

A civil lawsuit has been filed in Potter County Court by Doris Rigas of Coudersport against the county’s Board of Assessment Appeals, asking that the assessed value of property she owns be reduced by more than $180,000.

Anybody have the details on this?

Nope, just that she would like to be able to pay less in property taxes if the value of the property is lowered!

Wouldn't we all like that?! I mean until we decide to sell it and then ask top dollar for it...

Actually now would be a good time to be revalued. (ie. screw the county out of tax dollars)

I think this is referred to as "out sourcing". Willing to pay almost or the same as it would be to pay people to tap and collect. Would be cheaper in the long run as you would not have to pay bennifits such as medical and vacation/sick days & fuel cost and wear and tear on vechicles.

It tears my heart apart to read this about WCF. I miss it.
