Patricia A. McClain, 73, of Bullis Mills, Eldred, PA

BULLIS MILLS, PA - Patricia A. McClain, 73, of Bullis Mills died Monday (Feb. 1, 2010) at home following a brief illness.

Born Feb. 25, 1936, in Liberty, McKean County, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Stella Smith Blakeslee Bickford. On July 2, 1955, in Farmers Valley, she married Charles L. McClain who passed away Oct. 28, 1993.

Mrs. McClain was a 1954 graduate of Smethport High School and had lived in Bullis Mills since 1958.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo and euchre.

Surviving are three sons, Randy (Judy) McClain of Portville, NY, Ricky and Curt McClain, both of Eldred; a daughter, Tammie (Charlie) Basil of Moon Township, Pittsburgh; nine grandchildren, Scott (Lori) McClain, Steven McClain, Shawn (fiancee Adriann Francis) McClain, Theresa, Timothy, Tiffany and Tracy McClain, Mia McClain and Charlie Basil III; a great-grandson, Calvin McClain; two brothers, Jack Bickford of Eldred and David Bickford of Emporium; three sisters, Muriel Tanner of Port Allegany, June Mason of Eldred and Joanne Limeric of Roulette; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, George and Donald Bickford; and two sisters, Stasha Mangel and Joyce Milliron.

Private services and burial in Woodland Cemetery, Potter County, will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family requests memorials be made to the Potter County Hospice Program or to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under direction of the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred
