Dog Lost On North Main In Coudersport

[s3050a2036954m4625154.jpg]

Jim,
We have lost our foster dog - a very shy, scared named Proton.
He's in the area of Level 3 and North Main St area.
He's from an Amish Puppy Mill so he is very fearful of people since he's spent the last 6 years in a crate.
He is not aggressive, but does have a leash on him so it can be stepped on to catch him. He can be cornered to be caught if need be.
Please call 274-0917 or 716-485-8003 if you catch him.
Thank you,
Mary

I saw him down town at the red light by the Crit. He seemed scared and did have his leash attached to him. I hope you have him home safe now.

Does anyone know if the dog was found. Might want to check with Chris Arbogast to see if she found him - she rescues strays

No he has not been found. Please call me if you see him anywhere and try to step on his leash. He has never growled at us so I'm pretty sure he won't bite but he will be very fearful.

The dog was spotted up the West Branch of Dingman Run by the first house on the right. Was passing through there today and a lady that lives at the camp tried to catch him but he keeps running from her. He is still dragging his leash.

Saturday update - he was seen near the Westgate Inn about 9am this morning and could not be caught - he's a crafty little devil that certainly knows run. Surprisingly his leash is still dragging behind him.

Sunday update - we just saw him at the top of Niles Hill Road, still dragging his leash and still running away. I'd like to thank everyone one for their efforts - I truly appreciate all the help and phone calls I'm getting. He's going to be a tough one to catch.
