Joyce A. “Wee Wee” Dubs, 65, of Ulysses, formerly of New Oxford, PA

Joyce A. Dubs

Ulysses, PA---Joyce A. “Wee Wee” Dubs, 65, of Ulysses, formerly of New Oxford, PA, went to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 in her home after a lengthy illness.

Born June 9, 1944 in Hanover, PA, she was a daughter of John O. Sr. and Roxie Hagerman Smith. On August 22, 1964, she married Clarence W. “Moe” Dubs, Sr., who survives.

Mrs. Dubs was employed for 0ver 20 years by the former Hanover House in Hanover.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Oxford. She loved animals, especially her dogs Cody and Booger, and enjoyed watching bears in her backyard. She most especially loved spending time with her family.

Surviving besides her husband of 45 years are a son, Clarence W. “Mo Mo” Dubs, Jr., of Ulysses; a granddaughter, Danielle Moore of Missouri; a great-grandson to be born in July; five sisters, Peggy Young of Hanover, Judy Wolf of New Oxford, Jane Hollingsworth of NC, Pam Smith of Hanover, and Carolyn “Sis” Boyers of Thomasville; three brothers, John O. Smith, Jr. and Jay A. Smith, Sr., both of Hanover, and Aloysuis “Joe” Smith of New Oxford; many nieces and nephews; and her father-in-law, John Dubs of Hampstead, MD.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dubs was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Dubs.

There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced at Feiser’s Funeral Home in New Oxford, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Lung Association.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
