Nancy K. Moonan, 74, of 53 Corwin Lane, a lifetime resident of Bradford, crossed over on Sunday, March 7th, 2010 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born February 29, 1936, in Bradford she was a daughter of the late Grant O. and Helen E. (Huntoon) Work.

On June 11, 1955 in Bradford she married Charles C. Moonan Sr. who died on June 10, 1995.

She was formerly employed at O'Mara's Dairy Bar, the Main St. Diner, the Donut Shop, Dresser Manufacturing, J.C. Pennys, Clarks Discount Store, and Tops Friendly Markets. She sold Sarah Coventry Jewelry and Ideal Home products. She was a volunteer for the Derrick City Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving are five daughters: Deborah (Lemar) Joichin of Tampa, Joyce (Art) Woodruff of Scranton, Carol VanHorn of Bradford, and Teri (Yvonne) Moonan of Reading, one son in law Gary Morris of Fulton NY, two sisters: Caro A. (Lester) Simonds of Bradford, and Gertrude Milhisler of Bradford, one brother, Dalton L. (Vionne) Work of AL, her long time companion Raymond Berlin with whom she resided, 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Charles "Butch" Moonan who died on May 19, 1995, one daughter Cindy Morris who died November 22, 2008, six brothers and two sisters.

Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. East Main St. where funeral and committal services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, March 11th, with the Rev. David Stains, pastor of the Evans Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
