Olean, NY---Donna K. Stevens, 57, of Olean, NY, formerly of Shinglehouse, PA, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, NY surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness.

Born February 1, 1953 in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of Donald J. and Murble E. Robinson Stevens.

Donna was a graduate of Oswayo Valley High School in Shinglehouse. She was employed at the former Acme Electric Company in Cuba, NY for 35 years.

She was a member of Harvest Field Outreach Center in Olean and a member of Koinania in Eldred, PA. She loved to read and most especially loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are a brother, Robert M. Stevens of Salamanca; a sister, Rose M. Spotts of Olean; two nieces, Karen M. Smith of Olean and Jody L. Spotts of Lexington, KY; a nephew, Donald J. Spotts of Olean; a great-niece, Chelsie L. Knapp; and a great-nephew, Jarod M. Knapp.

In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by a sister, Shirley A. Stevens; and a brother, Kenneth G. Stevens.

Donna’s final gift was to be an organ and tissue donor.

At Donna’s request, there will be no public visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Eldred Church of God, Main Street, Eldred, PA with Pastor Wallace Mapes of Healing Reigns Church, Salamanca and Pastor Doug Travis of Harvest Field Outreach Center, Olean, officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Upstate New York Transplant Services, 110 Broadway, Buffalo, NY 14203.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
