BRADFORD, Pa – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will hold a transfer student open house for prospective students from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 2.

“Our transfer open house is specifically geared to the needs of students who already have experience at the college level,” said Bob Dilks, director of transfer and nontraditional student recruitment. “The program is an opportunity to answer questions about academic programs and transfer of credits, sample campus dining and tour campus.”

Check in will begin at 10 a.m. at the Admissions Office in Hanley Library. At 10:30 a.m. guests will be given an overview of the admission process and scholarship opportunities for transfer students in the Mukaiyama University Room inside the Frame-Westerberg Commons.

The Student Government Association president, Tim Woughter, will give a presentation on campus and student life at Pitt-Bradford, followed by a presentation on academics from James Baldwin, assistant dean of academic affairs.

Guests will then have the opportunity to take a campus tour with one of Pitt-Bradford’s student tour guides. Afterward lunch will be provided in the KOA Dining Hall. Students also have the option to meet with a counselor in the Admissions Office between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Reservations for the open house are requested. To register, call the admissions office at 814-362-7555 or e-mail dilks@pitt.edu.

For disability-related needs, contact the Office of Disability Resources and Services at 814-362-7609 or arj4@pitt.edu.
