Sara T. Mays, 95, formerly of Riley Road Apts.,, Bradford, PA

Sara T. Mays, 95, formerly of Riley Road Apts., passed away, Monday, March 22nd, 2010, at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born January 25, 1915, in Knox, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Sherry) Switzer.

On June 14, 1933 in Knox, she married Kermit T. Mays who died June 24, 1988.

She was a resident of the area most of her life, and resided in Cyclone for over 55 years. She was a former member of the Lafayette Evangelical Christian Church.

Surviving are two children: a daughter, Jean (Howard) Best of Punta Gorda, FL, and a son, Thomas (Betty) Mays of Cyclone, four grandchildren, two step grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson and one brother.

Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from 11:00 to 1:00PM in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., South Ave. at which time funeral and committal services will be held at 1:00PM with Rev. Glenn Hamilton pastor of the Cyclone Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Union Cemetery in Knox.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
