That isn't so, said state Sen. Joe Scarnati Wednesday, stopping at the Courier-Express during a swing through his eight-counties-large 25th District. Scarnati is the leader of the Senate Republicans as president pro tempore, and is also the lieutenant governor via succession.

"Tolls on Interstate 80 weren't Plan A" when state highway budgets were being discussed, said Scarnati. More...

We are taxed enough up here in Potter Co. and it is time that Harrisburg get it through your heads. If you think you need more money for an increase in gasoline tax to be diverted to MASS TRANSIT IN PHILLY OR ANY OTHER BIG CITY- then tax it down there and leave us alone. You don't seem to give a hoot about our roads and our budgets that we have to live on. NO ONE GOT RAISES HERE this year and the Social Security checks didn't get any bigger this year because the cost of living didn't go up last year, or weren't you listening to out President give his State of the Union Address and I'm sure that you don't get a S.S. check so you didn't get that notice the first of the year. Perhaps if our Senators , State Reps and the rest of the GOVERNMENT personal that we elect into office took that 6 1/2 percent decrease in pay instead of giving themselves an increase, they would realize WE CAN'T afford it. THEY LIVE TO HIGH ON THE HOG AND WE ARE PAYING FOR IT.

They all run around making statements that we need to save money, cut costs, cut programs. But I ask you have they stopped any of the money that they give to foregin countries. Foregin aid should stop and that money be used to rebuild the USA. They need to put a stop to these one way trade agreements and place high traffis on anything made outside the US and imported to the US. These other countries are sitting back laughing at us since we are destroying our Country, while we build up 3rd world countries. WORRY ABOUT THE USA NOT EVERYONE ELSE.

Raise "lil Johnny Flatlanders" taxes, he lives in Philly and they are in need of their roads repaired. Stay away from Potter County "lil Flatlander", stay home and off the roads, less wear and tear that way!!!!!

P.S. Take Lens advice and FIX THAT BELL! Now that was funny!
