Wilma M. NELSON, 74, of Ulysses, PA

Wilma M. NELSON, 74, of Ulysses, PA, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 in her home.

Born March 7, 1936, in Brookfield, PA, she was the daughter of Adrian M. and Elsie Simmons Mills. On November 13, 1954, in Mills, PA, she married Robert C. Nelson, who survives.

A 1954 graduate of Harrison Valley High School, she was employed by Galeton Production, the Country Cottage in Ulysses, and as a Potter County home health aide. She was a member of the Mills Union Church and the Harrison-Ulysses-Genesee senior center.

Surviving besides her husband, Robert, are: her mother, Elsie Mills Easton of Ulysses; five children, Barbara (Ronald) Cacciotti of Mooresville, IN, Connie (Daniel) Robbins of Westfield, PA, Robert C. "Chuck" (Lori) Nelson, Jr., James A. (Joanie) Nelson, and Cindy (Marc) Bennett, all of Ulysses; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, John (Barbara) Mills of Avoca, NY, James (Jackie) Mills of Westfield, and Terrance (Michelle) Mills of Ulysses; two sisters, Anna VanEtten of Ulysses and Dorothy (Wayne) Nelson of Shinglehouse, PA; an aunt, Alice Jean Wood of Coudersport, PA; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her step-father, Marvin R. Easton.

Friends may call Friday, March 26, 2010 from 2:00 -- 4:00 and 7:00 -- 9:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday in the Mills Union Church. The Rev. Timothy H. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Mills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Potter County Hospice, Coudersport, PA 16915.
