I cannot believe what I just heard, speaking of sports. The Buffalo Sabers hockey playoff game at Boston Bruins on MSG cable TV showed the Boston fans with a banner that said DILDINE with one of those Boston "B" emblems and the fans in Boston were chanting "Dildine! Dildine!"
Did that really start in Cameron County or Coudersport because if it did that is amazing. They had a banner at the World Series about 3 years ago when the Kinney kid from Port was pitching for the St. Louis Cardinals and now this!

LMAO! I was wondering if anyone else saw that and heard that. OMG! LOL! Hilarious!

The word "dildine" was first used at a fantasy sports draft in Coudersport in the late 80's

I saw the banner and heard the fans. Who cares about dilldine? GO SABRES!

Go Sabres? Go down the tubes maybe. The Pens rule! I saw the banner on the channel 33 broadcast and heard the fans chanting that word and I about peed my pants. There is a YouTube spot about the dildine banner at PNC park from about 6 years ago and one from the NL Playoffs when the Cardinals played the Mets and the banner made on the Fox TV stations all around the world.

Dildine is a word you can google. It's in the urban dictionary. There is lots of merchandise with the word on it. It's not from Coudersport.

"Lots of merchandise with the word dildine on it?"
Like what?
They should sell it at Olgas Gifts or the Always in Bloom. They'd make a fortune.

I've heard the word uttered at a few different fantasy drafts; even have seen it in bathroom stalls in more than a couple of states!

What does this have to do with girls softball? Do the fans still have the dildine banner hanging at the games? I thought the athletic director made them take it down and I know that the Feebig guy in Emporium grabbed the banner away when the Coudy fans took it to the high school baseball game at Cameron County.

At the hockey game in Pittsburgh on Thursday night April 22 there will be a big banner that says Penguins and Dildines. A former Coudersport resident has it all arranged with the people from the TV station to show it on the TV broadcast tonight on the Fox Sports Network. His name is Rob or Robert. Do not know his last name. They have a bunch of fans lined up for his offic to carry it around the crowd and they are the Dildine Brigades with special hats and there is a notice on the employee bulletin blog that it is going to be on the TV broadcast. Now if they can get the chant going that would really be something. So prepare to pee your pants again!

Can we make a bulk order and maybe save some money? Somebody should check with John Wright and see if they could get them wholesale and sell them at the Gallery. Any other local businesses maybe interested in selling these items?
